[Fixed] Viewer Crashes - On Viewing Secondary Monitor
I can VNC to the server fine, but once I click the "Switch Monitor" so that I can view the secondary monitor... the viewer will crash! I have tried fully uninstalling and reinstalling UltraVNC. Uninstalling and re-installing the Mirror drivers but that doesn't help.

Re: SC + Vista Compatibility - WORKING!!!!!!
Yeah, strange, not sure why I can't get it from the other link...
Thanks Radeon!!!
Mediafire link works just fine here.
As for those that have no clue how to modify files. You just need to modify helpdesk.txt in the SC_VNC_Files folder. The bottom of this page is a mini tutorial of how to edit ...

Re: SC + Vista = Slow?
Indexing service is disabled and my AV does not check network apps, but I'll try disabling it next time and see.mcutting wrote:Possibly your antivirus or the indexing service is causing this.

SC + Vista = Slow?
I am running XP Pro on my main PC using the latest UltraVNC v1.0.5.1. I recently formatted and noticed that when I connect to a Vista computer, it is VERY slow! Takes few minutes to update... even on LAN.
It was nice and quick before the reformat. Is there some kind of setting I have to do? I do ...

Re: SC - Toggle Between Server/Viewer Listen Mode?
Ah! I didn't even think about using 2 different ports for each, because it said that "Another instance is already running." So based on that I thought you simply can't have both on at the same time.
Great... I will change the port for the Listen Server.
Thank you soo much!

SC - Toggle Between Server/Viewer Listen Mode?
I use SC on occasion to fix family members & friends computers. It works great! However, I have to do the following to my local machine in order for the client using SC to connect:
1. Remove WinVNC Service
2. Run UltraVNC Viewer (Listen Mode)
3. Once done with client... Close UltraVNC Viewer ...
