UltraVNC

on fresh Windows 2003 x64 server/Fully patched. i just installed 1.0.9.6x64; I cannot uvnc to it :(

Client error is: the computer Server Closed Connection - Server Running as Application
On the server I get two uvnc icons in systray when i try to connect

On the server upon reboot I get Event ID ...

Running on W2003x64
Installed 1.0.9.5 recieved same error
Uninstalled 1.0.9.5 reboot
installed 1.0.8.2
reboot
received same error
I am running 1.0.8.2 for client on xp32bit

this was solved by upgrading the ssl client

client(x32) and server(x64) are both 1.0.8.2
all works great lan to lan
when using ssl vpn connection i get the error disabling nagle's algorithim

disabling symantec intrusion prevention stops this
the link you provide says uvnc 1.0.2 adresses this issue!!!

this was an issue with symantec endpoint protection - Intrusion prevention

in Symantec AV when i uncheck Enable intrusion prevention this is cleared

running SYmantec AV remote clients are being denied access

I am running 8.0.2 client; server should be >106x in service mode

OLD may have been installed in 32bit dir - i do not know if it was 32

installed puts it in C:\Program Files (x86)\UltraVNC

Running W2003x64, downloaded UltraVNC v1.0.6.4 x64 installer

The installer is trying to copy to [drive]\Program Files (x86)\UltraVNC

originalally 32bit vnc was installed (since removed), whats story

ADITIONALLY is there a specific win2003 x64 driver or use vistax64 or xpx64

many thanks. works great. in many of my tests -plugin was first, i think perhaps the main key was inclusion of msrc4plugin.dsm into the zip AND of course the proper syntax on both sides
