Re: Slow Screen and Mouse Response Time
Now I'm confused. I have the router and the viewer running on the same machine. I have the host running on another machine on the same lan. When I compiled the project, I used the wan address, and have set up port forwarding to the repeater. When I run this setup it is slow to the point of not ...

Re: Slow Screen and Mouse Response Time
Tried the rtr version, and it's speeds were more acceptable. Can I run the chunkviewer and the repeater on the same computer without degrading speed?

Re: Windows 7 from XP
Something weird is going on. I tried it again and it somehow took down my router. I had to power down the router. The router is a Linksys wrt54g with DD-WRT software. I don't know why it would blast the router, but it has done this before when I tried to connect. Both machines connect to the router ...

Tried it with no effect, but I'll give it a try again and let you know if the result is the same.

Re: Windows 7 from XP
Thanks for your reply. I am working from a 32bit xp computer and connecting to a 64 bit Windows 7 computer. Same physical network, same domain. I am hosting the repeater on the same computer I am using as a viewer. I can control other 32bit xp computers on the same network without any problems. I ...

Windows 7 from XP
I have been using UltraVNC SC for remote support for the past few years. I, like many have had problems supporting Windows 7 machines from my XP Machine.
I ran across ChuckVNC the other day and decided to give it a try. I love the simplicity, as well as your website. However, I have been unable to ...

Re: Security: Password and rc4.key strategies
Sorry, I'll try to be more descriptive.
I understand that passwords can be reset using a remote manager such as vnc manager, vncscan, smartcode, et al. My questions are a bit more theoretical.
First how often do you change your passwords and rc4.key files?
