Lightweight SSL support for javaviewers

I'd love to be able to SSL protect my sessions with remote machines wherever I travel. I can setup STUNNEL on my servers, but when I using the JAVA clients from someone else's box (no admin rights) I cannot force the JAVAclient to encrypt via SSL.

So if I'm visiting friends or at a business ...
