B, I don't disagree with you....but the sad truth is that the product is USED by Users who likely do not have as much knowledge on the subject as yourself.
So do you want the user to have a frustrating can't figure this out experience with the product? Or an easy breezy WOW this is awesome ...

Re: ChunkVNC with Rat's Perl Repeater - HELP!
yeah i understand. i don't mean to imply the port complications are your fault. porting should be a simple process, but invariably there's always a mystery issue that impedes the connectivity..whether router, firewall, program, or app....it's just a pain in the ass to solve.

Re: Simple question - viewer reverse desktop option?
Thanks Redge. I've used Teamviewer, but wasn't aware that 2.0 was open source. (teamviewer >v2 is a great tool to help "mom", but is too expensive otherwise...especially when UltraVNC is almost as good!)
And THANK YOU SUPERCOE for the excellent work on ChunkVNC. I'll look fwd to the next release ...

Simple question - viewer reverse desktop option?
Great program. Powerful, simple.
wondering...is there a way for the "viewer" to reverse share my desktop with the client "server"?
If so, how?
thx

Re: problem: server running as application/proxy settings e
K it's definitely NOT a antivirus/antispyware/firewall problem. I tried shutting everything off on both machines...but the same behavior still occurs.
Try 1 . Using the RTR version with all antivirus/antispyware/firewalls OFF = sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesn't
Try 2. Using the RTR ...
