I have figured out what does seem to work

vncviewer -connect ID:3333 -proxy xx.xx.xx.xx::443

This connects. Is this right for the sslproxy??

Hi all,

I am having a bit of a moment this afternoon. If i want to run the vncviewer-ssl.exe via a command line what are the settings?

eg

vncviewer -id 3333 -sslproxy -connect 10.0.0.15:443

The above does'nt work.

Okay, i have finally got around to trying this new sciii with the new repeater and so far so good.

1 question though for you. I take it the program still works even if no proxy is in place thus allowing you to use it for both events...

normal vncviewer >> 5901 - disributer5 - 443 << proxy << sciii ...

Thanks for the reply. That looks very interesting as it could probably solve some of the connection issues i have with some of the clients (fancy routing/firewall/proxy) issues.

I shall keep a check on this.

We have a support tool that is bundled with sc.exe that our clients can download from us. This basically has a hard coded ip address to our repeater that ...

okay reading the bottom of the helpdesk syntax, it says the following...

If you add [DIRECT] and only have 1 [HOST] defined, the menu is not shown
and the connection is direct started. (can be usefull for scripting)
[DIRECT] doesn't have a parameter line.


I have tried this and it doesn't work ...

SC command line

Hi all,

Is it possible to use SC through the command window so i can start it from a third party program?

Eg...

scvnc -connect * Connects to our repeater
scvnc -kill * Closes the connection and shuts the prog

Is this possible? I haven't obtained a version of it yet so i cannot test it.
