1) I have some trouble testing this system because when I install pchelpware v2, pchelpware v1 stops working. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong.. Is there any way to change it so they both can work at the same time?? This usually happens when pchelpwarev2 service doesn't work ...

1) when I installed server using old service and left hostname/access code blank, then uninstalled and reinstalled with RC2 server, I still can setup p2p from viewer to blank hostname, but choosing info shows it has got the new hostname. (see pic - hostname/access code for blank host = FKA02)

So I was able to connect to both vista and xp hosts at home when off-site. And was able to connect to to my own pc running SC. I can't think what might be wrong, firewall is switched off on both machines when testing. Would be happy to try some tests if you can recommend any to try.

Yes, correct, it did work on my PC, ran same created SC, came up with NAT PUNCH OK with PASSWORD FAILED. When I set the password by right-click in viewer it connected fine.

But tried it on vista PC sitting next to me, running sc server, and tried to connect, even with firewall off, computers didn't ...

I right click on viewer, setup p2p, it says "initializing connection" on server, get flashing icons, then lights stop flashing, and no connection.
