I was also having hard time finding specifics about this fix. The closest I came to the explanation was from the history screen of 1.1.0.0 installer:


-new vncpasswd + encryption.
Instead of using the password as part of the encryption, we now check the password insite the encryption by the server ...

Cannot configure groups for the old ms logon. I can check it in the server settings editor. But as soon as I click "Configure MS Logon Groups" button I get a crash in uvnc_set:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: uvnc_settings.exe
Application Version: 1.0.0.1 ...

SecureVNCPlugin with New MS Logon doesn't work. Viewer asks only for the password (instead of username/password combo) and things go haywire from there...

It does work if vnc password is configured on the server side instead of new ms logon.

Setup: Win7 x64 on both sides.
