Thanks for the speedy reply.

I think that I had already worked out that the access server needs to be on a separate different network. This is where I currently have it (i.e. it sits on a totally different WAN IP address to the server or viewer). I am still getting NAT Hole Punch fail ...

A note for Rudi,

I have been experimenting with PC Helpware V2 RC3 for the last couple of weeks, and I think the interface and usability are very good from both the viewer and server ends.

I have hit a problem in trying to use our own access server, there is no problem in connecting to the default ...

All XP maschines has user accounts with administrator rights, so the server is running as administrator. I have tested Send File and Send Fast.

Having the use accounts with administrator rights is not he same as "run as Administrator". You need to run the Server side in "run as Administrator ...

Run the Server side as Administrator and only use Send File and not Send Fast.
There are other things that do not work if the Server Side is not running as Administrator.

I have tried all versions from 2.46 back to 2.43 and they seem to create the PcHelpware.exe using BCJLZMA2:16 as the compression method. The resulting self extracting archive fails with "Unsupported Method" at 97% followed by "Unspecified error".
