I installed Firedaemon freeware version and let start vncviewer in listen mode as a services. whenever it crashes firedaemon restarts the listener automatically...
All connection reconnect then (ofcourse with option -autoreconnect in winvnc.exe at server side).

ctrl-alt-del
ctrl-alt-del is not possible when winvnc is run as an application... no matter what you try... only a system services can trigger that.

I'm a HUGE fan of UltraVNC.
If I try:
winvnc.exe -autoreconnnect -connect IPADDRESS
to connect to our listener, then whenever i close the viewerwindow, it reappears... Great!!
But when e.g. the viewer (in listen mode) crashes and I restart the listener the client doesn't retry to connect ...

Shared drives
It would also be great if you can access the mapped drives on the client computer. Eg. you have a driveletter x: on a server, now this drive isn't accessible in the filetransfer mode on the client.

Shouldn't it be possible to write all settings in a ini-file in stead of using the registry. That way it is possible to place a directory on the network and everyone can start vnc with the same setting. I've created a workaround for this (auto-importing a reg-file) but that's not the ideal ...

Nah, it ignores 8bit color! Listener starts but when connecting a client the thisplay is fullcolor.
