UltraVNC with AES Plugin generates memory err for some users

Post by wfdssupport »

We just started using the AESv2 dsm encryption plugin last week and some users are taking memory read errors just after entering the system access password for a particular host. It then is returned to Windows Explore.

This worked fine and with out errors using the older MSRC4 plugin. It appears to be a rights driven problem as I can run VNC to the same host on the same workstation as the user with the problme under my domain-admin privd acct and get to the host just fine. Privs for the user are the same as what used to work with the older encryption as well.

Any thoughts before I start digging too deeply into this?
