VNC Single Click failed with DSMPlugin

Post by mo1209 »

Hi all,

I downloaded the UltraVNC single click ( custom.zip), and then edit the helpdesk.txt, but didn't edit the rc4.key. And then upload to VNC SC online creator.

Case 1: When I run the viewer-listen mode, client's computer double click the SelfSC.exe and select the connection, it pop up below message:

Connection failed- Invalid protocaol!
Possible causes:
- you've forgotten to select a DAMPlugin and the Server uses a DSMPlugin

Result: failure to have VNC connection

Case 2: Before I upload the SelfSC.zip to VNC SC online creator, I deleted the rc4.key. Client's computer run the SelfSC.exe, it pop up below message:

Missing r4c.key file

Result: VNC connection works

*I try to copy the default r4c.key from the SelfSC.exe. and copied to ProgramFile/UltraVNC, but it also doesn't work.

I don't need to use RC4.key, how can I work fine with Single Click ?

I suppose you means do not need the encryption (RC3.key is used by the MSRC4Plugin), then the host definition inside the helpdesk.txt must not have the "-plugin" option, should be something like this:

Code: Select all

[HOST]
Internet support
-connect xx.xx.xx.xx:5500 -noregistry
Re-upload your .zip file with this change, the created SelfSC.exe will work w/o using the encryption.
