DSM plugin and Windows 95

Post by stevenm »

Hi everybody :)

I'm try to run UltraVNC-100-RC19.5 with the msrc4plugin.dsm plugin

I can get it working with XP to XP but I cant get it working with Windows 95

I have updated it with the high encryption pack so it should handle 128bit (but doesn'y), fails with 40bit too

But I keep getting a 'connection failed - invalid protocol'

I have tried using the no reg key as well

Has anyone successful connected to a windows 95 from XP ???

Please help its driving me crazy !?!?!

What version of the plugin?

I have noticed that 115 is not working on 95/98/98SE/ME/NT4. Argh! It does work on 2000/XP/2003.

Version 114 works on all versions. The change I made to better support "Kiosk" machines seems to be causing problems in the older OSes. I'm working on it. You can go back to 114 on both machines and it should work...or wait for 116 to come out. Sorry! :(

116 works with 95, as long as you have the high encryption pack installed.
