Restricted ports?

Post by mattice06082 »

I tried out the MSRC4 plugin (noreg) on my home setup and everything worked perfectly (nice instructions). Unfortunately I tried the same thing on a setup for a friend and wasn't able to connect from another PC inside his LAN once we turned on the encryption (works fine without it). The only thing different about his setup is that he's using port 443. Is there any issue with port selection or is the port irrelevant?

I never tried to use port 433 with encryption plugin. The only thing that I can sugguest is to try it on your network and see if will work..:)
