MS Logon and Ultr@VNC v1.0.0 RC18

HI

I have tried to activate MS Logon on XP Pro SP2 but it
does not work in how much, when I insert my Login, Ultr@VNC is not loaded. Where mistake?

When I have configurated MS Logon, I have put in the first group "Administrators" and in the second group "Users". Which thing means the Local option beside such groups?

P.S: Without MS Logon, all it works well.

Could you please use the newest version from http://dl.ultravnc.net/TEST19_12/ and http://dl.ultravnc.net/TEST19_13/.
The user interface changed, you need no local or domain option.
Then follow the instructions in [topic=1046][/topic] and [topic=1046][/topic].

1. Stop the VNC Server service.
2. Optionally: rename the old files in C:\Program Files\UltraVNC.
2. Copy the new files over the old ones (C:\Program Files\UltraVNC).
3. Start the VNC Server service.

I have replaced the files but it still does not work to me in how much, when I write my Login (Username: "An Sadd", Password: ffgjhh), the Viewer is not loaded. How never?

Have a look at the event log at the vnc server side.
For each connection, you can see an entry in the application log.

Is your login account (or a group where your account is a member of) configured in "Configure MS-Logon groups" on the vnc server?

I have configured the MS Logon the following way:

Group1: Administrators Local selected
Group2: Users Local selected

The User An Sadd is a member of the Administrators group.

Could you please activate the "New MS-Logon" on the UltraVNC Admin Properties page.
Then you have to again configure the MS-Logon groups (see the instructions refered to in one of my previous posts).
Try to connect again and have a look in the Windows Event Viewer (this is different from the vnc log files).

I meant [topic=1046][/topic] but I can see that there is not much help regarding configuring the groups.
When you activate the "New MS-Logon" you get a different "Configure MS-Logon groups" dialog.
You can add any number of groups or users to the ACL (access control list).
For each group/user, you can specify if it is allowed "full control" ( == "interact"), i.e. take over mouse and keyboard or "view only".
Make sure that either your user account or a group your account is a member of is in this ACL.
