UltraVncSC update 2009 stop user input when browse with IE

Post by suppman »

I have a problem with the new SC (update 2009). It is tested with UltraVNC 1.0.8.2 in listen mode (and the older versions too) and every time when remote user (or operator) starts IE 8 and click on some links screen and operator input is freezing. At this time connection is active (you can activate file transfer for example and it works) but keyboard/mouse input and screen refresh are blocked.

The problem exists on every combination of OS versions - XP-XP, Vista-XP, WIndows 7 - XP etc. In Windows 7 is even worse -on some dialog boxes input hangs again (UAC is disabled on remote machine).

My "server" config:
vncviewer.exe -disablesponsor -listen 5192

This is exactly the same problem I'm having, as well.

Viewer - Windows 7 64bit
Test Server 1 - Windows Vista 32bit
Test Server 2 - Windows 7 Starter 32bit
Compiled with: UltraVncSC update 2009

Any solution to this? Extract the exe, turn off the hookdll, put it back in?
