Connection with VNC-Server = yes, but with VNC-SC = no

Post by Hamburgo »

On a XP-PC I have a vnc-viever running in the standard listen-mode.

From my Win2K-PC I can connect this viewer over the vnc-server out of any problems.

If I try the same with a vnc-server-sc, than I get no connection! Nothing will happen.

note: all firewalls are stopped and the connection should be run in a
simple local area network.

Files of the SC-Version:
helpdesk.txt
icon1.ico
icon2.ico
logo.bmp
SCHook.dll
vnchooks.dll
winvnc.exe

What can be wrong ?

If you are needing more information, please, contact me.

if you use winvnc from the full version to your custom SC
try:
-connect hostname::5500 -noregistry -run
UltraVNC 1.0.9.6.1 (built 20110518)
OS Win: xp home + vista business + 7 home
only experienced user, not developer
