Created VNC SC, how to setup viewer

Post by karl3200 »

I got a VNC SC exe created an installed. So far, so good.

Next I downloaded the standalone viewer 1.0.1. When I open it, it asks for the VNC server I want to connect to. I thought I could just open the viewer and have it listen for the SC server trying to make a connection.

Can the viewer be made to just listen instead of needing me be to enter the servers address? If yes, how do I do it?

Never mind, I found the -listen option and created a shortcut with

"C:\UVNC Viewer\vncviewer.exe" -listen

This works fine.

2 ways
  • vncviewer 1.0.1
Start.... Programs.... UltraVNC... UltraVNC Viewer ... Run UltraVNC viewer (Listen Mode)
  • Start ... Run ... "C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\vncviewer.exe" -listen 5500
