How To SCIII with linux?

Post by landeshauptstadt »

Hi,
first i have to thank redge for his great help to get the SCIII repeater with windows working!
He helped me (and you) a lot with his tutorials and his fast replies on this forum.

But now i'm in front of just one little (big) problem:
How to make SCIII work on linux?
Of course, with the default ports it's not a problem! But over 443 and 80 i get no success.

This is the actual output from my debian system (the repeater):
www:/home/UVNCRepeater# ./repeater 443 80
UltraVnc Linux Repeater version 0.07
UltraVnc> start_listening_on_port(): socket() initialized
UltraVnc> start_listening_on_port(): setsockopt() success
UltraVnc> start_listening_on_port(): bind() succeeded to port 443
UltraVnc> start_listening_on_port(): listen() succeeded
UltraVnc> start_listening_on_port(): socket() initialized
UltraVnc> start_listening_on_port(): setsockopt() success
UltraVnc> start_listening_on_port(): bind() succeeded to port 80
UltraVnc> start_listening_on_port(): listen() succeeded
UltraVnc> route_connections(): starting select() loop, terminate with ctrl+c
UltraVnc> route_connections(): new viewer connecting, accepting...
UltraVnc> accept_connection(): connection accepted ok from ip: 213.31.232.166
UltraVnc> ParseId(): IdCode =
UltraVnc> ParseId(): IdCode format error, does not start ID:
UltraVnc> accept_connection(): ParseId returned error
I've set up the server and the viewer as described with no special settings (no plugins / no key-files)

Does anyone knows how to get it work?

Kind regards,

landeshauptstadt
