Am I encrypted?

Post by Buck Bokai »

Is there a way to test that SSL is actually enabled on the connection? I tried setting up SC III with the DSM plugin with it, but it does not appear to connect when I enable it.

SCIII SSL (crypted) -- repeater--- vncviewer (not crypted)
SCIII SSL (crypted) -- repeater -- vncviewer_ssl (crypted)

with vncviewer, you see on the title if connection is encrypted with plugin
(if not crypted, there nothing on the title)

exception
SSL is not mentioned in the vncviewer connection status
if you want both side encrypted SSL
you need vncviewer_ssl.exe and SCIII,

in your case, you have double security encryption.
SSL + MSRC4 encryption
