repeater id

Post by bubi »

Hi, I would want to know how the authentication works through id for the repeater.
What it happens if a user connects him with the my same id?

That really depends on which version of the repeater you are talking about but basically if someone is using the same id and tries to connect you get cut off in the pchelpware on a public repeater.. if you are using an older standard repeater non (encrypted connection) once you connect the server and viewer together the repeater removes the connnection so someone could use the same id after both the server and viewer are connected

hope this helps
