Log off windows user without closing vnc

Post by Matt2040 »

Hey guys, first of all I'm new to all things networking so I apologise in advance if I write something stupid or that doesnt make sense; I'll try my best to properly explain my problem:

I work at a helpdesk and we're looking into switching all remote access to UVNC.

I currently have 2 machines running with UVNC 1.02. We set UVNC up so that only certain users from a specified domain can get remote access.

Everything works fine and we get connected, but the problem is: we cant logoff the user without losing the VNC connection. We need to able to log off the user without losing the connection (so that we can, for example, login with the local admin to perform instalations and stuff).

I tried installing it both by default and as a windows service. I still get kicked out when I log off.

Any thoughts on how I can get it to work? I'll post more detailed info if needed. Tks a lot in advance to anyone that replys.
