Noob question concerning VNC and Ipad

Post by syoo6 »

Hello,

I'm completely new to VNC and I'm in need of some help. I'm wanting to get an ipad and remote access my work database while I'm away or on business trips. However, this poses somewhat of a security problem. If one of my employees were to install the vnc programs on their personal work computers and access them outside of work without my knowledge, they would potentially be able to steal sensitive information. Is there any method for me to prevent something like this from happening? Any advice is appreciated!

CHEERS!

the own way for limit access employee for security. let user as limited account instead of computer administrator. so unpossible to install software that run at system level.

Thanks for the advice. But isn't it pretty basic to get around the password. I know how to do it so what stops anyone else? And by password I mean the windows login password.
