Keyboard typing incorrectly

The problem: When connected thru UltraVnc and typing, the symbols in the shell don't match what I am typing.
Whatever key I press, I see 0, 1, 2, 3 etc on the screen.
My computer has Windows 7 operating system; the remote one is Sun workstation (sun_solaris_x64)

work around
use ssvnc viewer for windows for connect to your Sun

Thanks for the suggestion. Should I uninstall the UltraVNC on my computer?

1. first tryit with ssvnc viewer if OK, and all you requirement are ok.
you can uninstall ultravnc if you don't need it.
