client screen refresh

Post by mkruger »

Hello,

I have v1.0.9.5 server installed on WinXP SP3 using mirror driver. UVNC works very well, but occasionally I have problems where the client screen is not updated. This requires a manual refresh of the screen.

Any suggestions for changes to my settings?

This looks ok,

Did you enabled cache ( encoder option, viewer) , this is not 100% accurate.

Not sure really....as the options are greyed out when choosing the "AUTO" (select best settings) connect option.

I will do some experimentation by disabling Auto and manually selecting or deselecting the encoding options.

My apologies for a delayed response to this....

The problem is most notable when looking through windows event viewer on Windows XP. Closing an event and or moving to the next event leaves plenty of artifacts. That said, version 1.0.9.6 is much improved in this regard. And I have found the problem disappears altogether when the directX option is enabled on the client viewer.
