UVNC behind Cisco EPC3925 with repeater

Post by Piszi »

Hello,

First of all sorry for my bad English.
I'm trying to get UVNC work behind my ISP modem/router with the repeater but with no luck. I don't have access to the router becouse my cousin set up a pass and, he is on long vacation so I can't reach him.
I'm a little bit confused and can't get around the configuration.
This is what I did.
Installed UltraVNC server only as Service to my home computer.
Downloaded the repeater and copied the exe to the VNC folder and enabled mode II, saved and than installed it as service.
Bot the server and the repeater is running (but now if I want to check the repeater log the exe crashes, I checked the netstat and the ports are Listening 0.0.0.0:5900, :5500, :5901, :5800 so I assume it is working corretly)
On local LAN without the repeater I can connenct, but if I type in my PC's local IP with port 5901 to the VNC server field in the viewer I get this "The server is running as application" is this normal?
But actually I want to access my PC from the internet and if I type my public IP (which is static) with the port no (5901) it can't connect, did I miss something?
I also tried without repeater on a port which is forwarded on the router (port 39000) but nothing.
Can someone help me?
