When connected shown taskbar
When connected shown taskbar
On the computer running the program. This program is always on top of all others, including the taskbar.
However, when I connect to this computer, the taskbar shows overlapping screen of the program. How to avoid it?
Sorry for bad english ...

Re: When connected shown taskbar
I'm trying to figure out exactly what you're asking:
You mean the computer running the uVNC server component? Is program referring to an application that is not uVNC?"On the computer running the program"
I'm not sure what this means."This program is always on top of all others, including the taskbar"
Again, I'm not understanding what you mean here."However, when I connect to this computer the taskbar shows overlapping screen of the program. How to avoid it?"

Re: When connected shown taskbar
Sorry, I will try to paraphrase.
On the computer the server is installed. The program always works at this computer. This program is maximized on all screen. The window of the program appears over the panel of tasks.
I start uVNC Viewer, I am connected to that computer. Thus on the remote computer the panel of tasks is shown. The panel of tasks appears over the program maximized on all screen. During the usual work on the computer of the such doesn't occur.
So more clearly?

Re: When connected shown taskbar
I think I get it now. On the computer you are trying to remotely view, the program you want to see on it is normally full-screen with the taskbar hidden from view underneath.
Once you remotely connect with VNC, the program's lower portion is hidden from view because the taskbar (from the uVNC server computer) is now visible.
I'll see if I can replicate this scenario. Rudi may have input one way or the other as well, but I don't think I've heard of this issue before.
Also, some more details:
* What version of uVNC?
* What Operating System version?
* What are your taskbar properties exactly? This will help me try to recreate the problem under the same circumstances.

Re: When connected shown taskbar
Yes, all of you correctly understood.
uVNC Viewer: 1.1.9 X64, Win7
Remote PC:
- uVNC server: 1.1.9 X86 + Mirror Driver
- Win XP professional x32
- TaskBar - autohide=false
- Taskbar state = disabled (Taskbar is a window, I send it through WinAPI disable command. This one of means that users had no access to system)
I will try to repeat a situation at a normal state of the Taskbar. I will report about results.

Re: When connected shown taskbar
I recreated a situation on the virtual computer. You can download TaskbarVisibleWhenConnected.Exe, execute it on the remote computer. Then execute uVNC Viewer and be connected to the remote computer. The Taskbar on the remote computer becomes visible, though shouldn't.
If you don't manage to recreate a situation, you can write about it. We will try this issue to resolve.
ps:
the problem is visible without setting the Taskbar State

Re: When connected shown taskbar
There are ideas on this subject ?
Re: When connected shown taskbar
Are there any news on the problem described?
Re: When connected shown taskbar
I started using TightVNC the server together with UltraVNC Viewer. The specified problem isn't present.
Re: When connected shown taskbar
Glad to hear it's working now. I changed jobs not long ago and have minimal ability to test currently.

Re: When connected shown taskbar
Unfortunately, the problem remained. Although sometimes it does not show. Is unstable.SNike wrote:I started using TightVNC the server together with UltraVNC Viewer. The specified problem isn't present.
