Hello,
Newbie here learning to use UltraVNC. I have a laptop with 1440 max resolution and a desktop with 1900 max resolution. I would like to connect the laptop to the desktop and to have the desktop appear the same on the laptop's screen as it does on the desktop's. So far I have only gotten the icons smushed together because the resolution seems to be downsized when viewing over UltraVNC. Help!
Update: UltraVNC 1.4.3.6 and UltraVNC SC 1.4.3.6: viewtopic.php?t=37885

How to work with different desktop resolutions?
Re: How to work with different desktop resolutions?
If you want to see the desktop's entire screen at once, it will have to shrink the view because there are not enough pixels on the laptop to show it clearly.
If you want to see the desktop's screen clearly, then you cannot resize it and you will have scroll bars.
This is a physics issue and not a software one.
