RC16 feedback needed....what bugs are still open on it

Post by Rudi De Vos »

Did RC16 crashed on your PC ?
When ?
CPU ? MP HT AMD/INTEL
Speed ? New driver method is more secure, but have some impact on the speed, is it acceptable?
Some other non stability bug ?

Have some time next week, to dig in the code.
Not a lot reports on RC16....

No bugs :) or nobody has tried it :(

If it didn't crashed... perhaps send a smily with CPU and OS

Thanks in advance

RC 16 viewer bug (previously reported)

Just the problem with all the windows closing when one window is closed. This only happens whe the windows are "spawned" It is not a problem if a new copy of the executable is run

BSOD on server when trying to connect. Same problem with R11, but R14 was OK. Did not try R15.

This PC has 3 monitors x 1600 x 1200.

AMD Athlon XP 2000
Win2K, SP4.

My R16 crashes

Post by Grid55 »

Mine crashes and it's driving me crazy! I'm new to ultraVNC and haven't been able to get it to work. I installed R16 my win2000 PC at work and had a friend connect successfully. I cannot for the life os me get my winXP Pro to connect successfully. I get the passwork window and as soon as I enter the correct password both windows disappear! I tried it on a crappy Pentium overclocked 200MHz 96Mb and a Pentium 4 2.2GHz 768Mb laptop with no luck! Very frustrating...that's why I'm reading this forum now I guess :|
