Tried to update and get this error...

Post by Dennis Womack »

... on reboot...

vnccom.sys driver could not locate entry point IOCreateDeviceDriver in vncdrv.sys.

Stuff runs, but I'll bet the mirror driver is not working.

What do I do now?

Thanks,

Dennis

vncdrv.sys /vnccom.sys are a pair

/system32/drivers

Check if both versions are the one you upgraded from.

They were miss matched, and the .dll was wrong.

I manually copied the files to the right place.

Things seem to work.

How can I verify the mirror driver is being used?

Would you please modify the updater to make it write a .log file to the directory where the updater is run. The popup is there and then gone too quickly.

Thanks
