Strange Windows 7 Issue

Post by abagwell »

I really have no clue if this is being caused by UVNC or not but I can't find anything out on the web about it. I figured I would pose it to the forum to see if anyone has experienced it before.
After installing UVNC 1.08 on Win7 machines the admin accounts stored on the local machine get locked out. I can log in on our domain with the domain admin accounts just fine, but if I try and switch to the local machine account to login it claims my login info is incorrect.
When I set up UVNC I was on the local admin account.

This is all but impossible to remedy. Removing/resetting the admin accounts on the local machine does nothing to resolve the issue. The only way is to go in with an UltraBoot CD and force a password reset with the "NT offline password reset" function. This allows the admin to login locally but only once, then they are back to the same situation of it not allowing them to log in.

This is really baffling/frustrating me as it is undermining my attempts at getting UVNC on everything. :|

Any help would be massively appreciated and if I can provide any other info to help I would be happy to.
