repeater crash

Post by nvatray »

I have found an issue with repeater and stability.

If you have more than one plugin.

MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm
MSRC4Plugin_Win7.dsm

If you connect Viewer via ID:xxxx , use DSMPlugin MSRC4Plugin_NoReg.dsm, ProxyRepeater.

Then simply close viewer, the viewer never closes, stays connected in the background, shows up in task manager processes.

Open another vncviewer window and connect via ID:xxxx, use DSMPlugin MSRC4Plugin_Win7.dsm, ProxyRepeater.

The repeater_service crashes.

The only way to avoid the issue, seems to be to end task on vncviewer.exe before launching the next one with a different plugin.

The more end users using repeater connections the more server becomes unstable and is not reliable because a single person can cause the repeater_service to crash unexpectedly and this causes all connections on the repeater_service to be lost.
