User assist/control not working
User assist/control not working
I have the server running on one PC and the viewer on the other. The PC running the server I have the user logged in and at the desktop. On the other PC I open viewer and connect to the PC running the server who is already logged in. But once I connect to it all it shows me is the login screen, even though the other user is logged in already. I want to be able to remotely assist someone while they are logged in, but its currently acting like remote desktop and only allowing me to kick the other user off in order to connect. I've checked all the settings and everything looks right. What am I missing here?

Re: User assist/control not working
Then you need to disable the uvnc_service and start winvnc manual in the RDP session.
Runnin as service vnc always connect to the console.
On non RDP server systems you only have a single session ( console or rdp)
Logon rdp -> logoff console
logon console-> close rdp
