This is driving me up the wall. Every PC I've been pushing to (multiple different profiles) has been doing this. Doesn't seem to matter if the driver is installed or not, but it didn't do this until the past few months? I don't have an exact time frame when this started happening, but I've noted this problem on all the new computers I've been setting up in the past few months.
If I put background.bmp in the VNC directory on the server, that also shows up on the client, but I expected that to happen.
Ideas?
Server PCs are Windows 7, both x86 & x64

Selecting blank remote monitor shows eye on client also
Re: Selecting blank remote monitor shows eye on client also
Blanking the remote monitor does not work on Windows 7 or 8. They changed the display subsystem such that the method uVNC uses to perform the operation no longer gives the desired result.
AFAIK, there is no way to get that functionality back at the moment.
