Hi

Well, i want to describe my installation and would be very glad if someone can tell me if all of this is correct:


Pc server:

Installed version UltraVNC 1.201 X64. I installed vnc viewer and server.

In admin properties, I put a tick on "DSM PLUGIN" and select "SecureVNCPlugin64.dsm"

In the folder C:\Archivos de programa\UVNC bvba\ultravnc appears, several archives, some of them are:

20140812_server_clientauth.pbkey
securevncplugin64.dsm
etc..


Pc client:

Installed version UltraVNC 1.201 x64, I installed only Vnc Viewer.

When I open the program (vnc viewer) I select "use dsm plugin" and in the list, select "securevncplugin64.dsm" (in each connection session, I have to select the option, because when I open the program, never is selected..)

In the folder C:\Archivos de prgrama\UVNC bvba\ultravnc appears between the archives:

20140812_Viewer_ClientAuth.pbkey
SecureVNCPlugin64.dsm


The pbkeys of both pc (server and client), there were created, through VNC viewer, selecting the dsm plugin and then push "config" button, but the new window appears the problem is.. all area of the window is grey, the only buttons i can select is "generate client authentication key" and "generate server key (advanced)"


All of this is correct? My connection established between both pcs is secured or not?

I have to do something more?

I forgot to metion that when i stablish a connection between the two pcs, when in the client pc, appears the screen from windows´pc server, the arrow mouse is a little bit slow, is that normal? is there any option to make it faster? because i try another programs like tightvnc and there wasn´t that issue..

If you are connected successfully, the Viewer title bar says whether or not encryption is currently enabled.

You can change the encoding to see if it speeds up your response. I use Tight encoding for anything not on the same LAN as myself.
