Multiple monitor bug

Post by cegodsey »

Something has happened to my uvnc in the last few months. I haven't been able to figure this out. We have uvnc running on three computers in different states, all connected via mpls. Each computer has an Epson projector attached and we run Epson's Easy Interactive Tools which allows us to draw on the screen. It's set up so that someone at another location is able to draw on the same screen that we are drawing on so that we can collaborate between locations. As of June this was working. Then last month when I opened the drawing software, the pen cursor showed up offset from the pointer. I discovered that the pen was acting as if our second display was merged with the main display, so that I could only draw on half the screen after which my mouse went off the VNC screen. If I disable the extended desktop (thus duplicating the desktop to the other monitor) the problem is fixed, but we use the second monitor for our conference cam. I've tried installing an older version of the Epson software but that didn't fix it. Of course, after I close the Epson software, the mouse tracking goes back to seeing just the main screen. Anybody ever run into something like this?
