UltraVNC SecureVNCPlugin.dsm Issue

Post by mrGoodbar »

I am trying to connect to my remote Windows 8.1 Pro machine using UltraVNC. I have the ports forwarded in my router and I was able to connect remotely without issue. Recently I noticed when I launch the UNVC Viewer and try to connect that "(no encryption)" is listed under the Connecting status.

I have the "Use DSMPlugin" check box selected and the plugin selected from the drop down menu. I have the correct port specified, I copied the clientauth key to the UVNC install directory on the client machine I'm trying to use. Again this has been working and all of a sudden I noticed the "no encryption" message. If I turn encryption off on the server I can connect successfully.

Any ideas?

TIA,

Jim
