Remote blank monitor custom backround.bmp

Post by docfxit »

I would like to have a custom backround.bmp display when I use the Remote blank monitor.

I have in the ultravnc.ini file:
BlankMonitorEnabled=1
CaptureAlphaBlending=1
BlackAlphaBlending=0

I have a backround.bmp file that I created as a BMP file.
Dimensions 1280 x 729
Width 1280 pixels
Height 729 pixels
bit depth 4

In Admin Properties on the server side I have:
No check mark in Remove Aero(Vista)
I do have a check mark in Enable Blank Monitor on Viewer Request

The file is in the same folder as UltraVNC is installed on the server PC.
I'm running UltraVNC ver. 1.2.0.9 on both the server and the viewer PC.

I'm running both PC's on Win7 Ultimate 32bit sp1 with all MS updates.

When I select Toggle Remote Input and Remote Blank Monitor(On/Off) on the viewer side I get the default Eyeball on the server side.

What do I need to do to get my custom backround.bmp to display instead of the Eyeball?

Thank you,
