ChunkVNC 3.2 Ready-To-Run Edition - File Needed

Post by AcmeUK »

Hi Guys

I use the ChunkVNC 3.2 Ready-To-Run Edition to support a few friends.

Unfortunately I had a hard disk failure and lost my copy of the files.

The link on this forum is dead. Can a kind person dig me out the hole and put up a copy ChunkVNC_3_2_RTR_Swiss.zip

Thanks

Hi Maxlinus

Thanks for putting that up.

It was not the ready to run ChunkVNC_3_2_RTR_Swiss.zip, but I gave it a try.

Compilation was easy, I just put in the swiss repeater (repeater03.ultravnc.info) and pressed Compile.

However it does not work. :(

If I launch instantsupport.exe I get a 6 digit number, but then get an Error message saying 'Connection to the repeater was not possible'

If I launch the viewer it immediately gives the status message 'Repeater repeater03.ultravnc.info connection failed'.

I can ping repeater03.ultravnc.info, so I assume it is still operational.

I have tried both instantsupport and the viewer on a Win 7 and a Win 10 PC with the same results.

Looking at the documentaion, do I need the local LAN Address of the Swiss repeater?

Any ideas?

Thanks BillP
