Ultravnc and filezilla

Post by JavaOops »

I have sessions to linux, tigervnc-server-1.1.0-16.el6.x86_64, servers using ultranvc 1.2.1.0.

Everyday I need to pull down up to 10 files from a repository and use filezilla for that purpose.

The issue is that when I start the transfer, vnc loses its connection to the linux machine, sometimes automatically reconnecting and sometimes not.

It's more of an annoyance that it is an issue, but occasionally I will have up to 12 vnc sessions going and need to step thru each one to verify it is still active.

Easy to reproduce. setup and connect to a linux server using vnc. Once that has been established, find some ftp site, maybe a centos ftp server, and using filezilla setup to transfer up to 10 files, download some of the iso images.

It is at that point where ultravnc viewer loses it connection to the the linux vncserver
