Reverse connection keepalive (for Linux repeater in Mode II)

Post by Topo »

I've noticed in uvncrepeater.log that the server reconnects frequently. Is there a way to prevent reverse connections to become idle and hit MAX_IDLE_CONNECTION_TIME? I believe I've read posts from 2014 about sending keepalive packets but I don't think they are effective in my setup:

Server: winvnc 1.2.1.1
Repeater: http://www.wisdomsoftware.gr/download/u ... -ws.tar.gz (Running on a Raspberry Pi Model B+, for low power consumption and zero noise)

So, the question is: Is there a modern Linux repeater supporting keepalives?

Regards,

Topo
