I am upgrading ChunkVNC to a new version of UltraVNC (from 1.2.0.4 to 1.2.1.1) and noticed that winvnc.exe complains when started with the (undocumented?) httpproxy option.
I checked the changelog, and the option is not mentioned anywhere. I checked the source and noticed that code parsing this option (and the code using the G_HTTP flag set by this option) is active in 1.2.0.4 but commented out in 1.2.1.1.
I modified ChunkVNC to start winvnc without this option, and everything seems to work fine. What does/did it do? Will I get problems using winvnc without this option?
Best regards
Heinzi

Re: What does/did the -httpproxy option do?
This was a old code part, with the intension of using a socks proxy as proxy for vnc.
Part wasn't working, removed to cleanup code a little.

I see, makes sense. Thanks for the quick reply!
