MultiUser Sessions

Post by bkofsky »

Hi all,

I'm working with UltraVNC in my environment, I have it configured to allow multiple connections using MSLogin. The problem is that when even just two different users sign in from two different machines, their desktops are one. Meaning that if UserA tries to do something, UserB is seeing it on their session. Is this a known issue? Has anyone come across this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

That's exactly what should be happening. You've got two different computers connected to the same third desktop, correct? Both are controlling that one desktop. So anything one is doing should be seen by the other just as if you were sitting in front of the server host. It's the same as if you plugged in two mice or two keyboards. They're going to conflict with one another. You can't have two people doing two different things simultaneously on the host unless they are in communication with one another. That's where the chat feature comes in handy.

Unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean.
