Cannot start VNC server
Cannot start VNC server
currently receiving error message when trying to open VNC server ( another instance of winVNC is already running) need help please! lol

This mean that vnc is already running. LOL

Check taskmgr ( all users) for winvnc.exe

I tried that LOL. I found winvnc.exe in taskmgr under the processes tab ended it and still had the same error message pop up again. its driving me crazy. lol

Check taskmgr ( all users) for winvnc.exe
The service of winvnc.exe run as SYSTEM in session 0 and the desktop part run in the desktop session.
If you don't check all users, you only see yourself
If you kill the desktop part with taskmgr, the service auto restart it in a few seconds.
It can also be another vnc flavor.
you can check with netstat -abn what software is listening on port 5900/5901...
cmd ( start with runas admin)
The service of winvnc.exe run as SYSTEM in session 0 and the desktop part run in the desktop session.
