WinVNC -install wo/Msgbox possible?

Post by cheaha »

I am trying to get WinVNC to register as a service by using the -install or -reinstall option. The -reinstall option is listed in the shortcuts as silent, but it is NOT.

The msgbox's are being generated no matter what I do. Is there a way to get WinVNC -install and WinVNC -remove to work without generating the MessageBoxes?

Does this require a re-complie without the messageboxs? That leads me to another question. How does one apply the .patchs from the dev site. I can't seem to get anything to complile with Microsoft Visual C++ or BCC.

If anyone could figure this (no messagebox) out I would greatly appreciate it.

So do you guys think that a custom compile will have to be done..and who knows how to get the source to compile...I've tried everything I know how. (I'm not a C++ guy...I'm still in VB world)
