Screen tearing when use Mirror Driver.

Post by Darren Zhao »

Hi,

When I play a 720p HD video and use the mirror driver begin to capture the screen,I got the screen tearing. It's more obvious when the image changes faster. The video play return to normal after I disable the mirror driver. It is normal if I don't play video.

The video is 1280x720,6000kbps,23frames/s.

The pc hardware is i3/4G/firepro w4100 GPU.

Anyone who can help me?

Thanks,

Darren

A mirror driver is a gdi driver without acceleration.
When active, the real videodriver disable acceleration is put himself in basic mode.

-try another player
-activate player after the mirror driver is active

firepro w4100 is a fast card but with a mirror driver it run in basic mode.
Thiscard is faster on WIN10 with desktop duplication as this use direct3D for screen capturing.
