Upgrading from 11.0d to ?

Post by RobH »

I want to upgrade all of my client from version 11.0d.
A few questions:
1. What is the next stable version?
2. What do I need to do with the video driver?
I have an install package doing everything for me. I run Ultra as an application. It will be a hassle if I need to uninstall the video driver, but I will if I have to.
3. Does the new video driver need to be installed?
4. Where can I get it?
Thank alot.
Love the new forum!

I'll suggest to wait for RC16 or RC17, before upgrading.
Actually RC16 looks stable with good perfs.

But versions > RC11d need another video driver, so the "old" one needs to be uninstalled first... before the new driver is reinstalled.

Furthermore, the driver setup is now separated from the Ultr@VNC setup and must be downloaded from another web site :

As RC11d is quite good, no need for you to waste time to deploy an intermediate version.
But I repeat, RC16 looks good...
