Microsoft ISA server

Post by VinzZ »

Here in the office we have a computer that is always in "listening" mode so customers can connect to it.

Some customers have a "Microsoft ISA server". I added port 5500 (outbound) in the packet filters so they can connect.
I tried from the server itself and that is no problem. But when I try to connect from client computers it doesn't work. Except if I Run VNC as an application, then it works... Have I forgotten something?

Any help will be kindly appreciated!!

ISA works on user level....
Running as service the user is the local system account.
Running as application the user is the current user.

Or you need to run the service as a know user, or tell the ISA
server to allow "local system".
Don't know if it is possible to add " local system", not an ISA
expert.
