How can I view .cache files in the cache folder?

Post by jptechnical »

How can I view the .cache files created in the cache folder? It would be helpful to look in there and see the files if I forget (frequently) to get the date/time of the remote support connection.

Is this possible? I know the cache files are viewable in one way or another, because if I don't clear this cache folder I will often see someone elses desktop on first connect before the server starts sending data. I even sometimes see portions of the screen (typically upper right where a bginfo holds the client info) are persistent even after a connection has been running for a minute or two, till a window is drawn on top of this desktop area.

I tried vlc and irfanview to open them... since they can usually display just about anything. That is all I have tried at this point.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
