Javaviewer proxy?

Post by timmy411 »

When using the CGI script or the javaviewer test at http://www.uvnc.com/pchelpware/SCIII/index.html. It refers to a proxy. Is the proxy in this case a web proxy or a repeater?

SC is a terrific tool and i love it. But i cant seem to get the javaviewer working. I always recieve the message

Network Error: Invalid proxy response "RFB 000.000" when using port 5901. which is my repeater listen port.

and
Network Error: Invalid proxy response "â–¡â–¡â–¡â–¡â–¡â–¡"
when using port 443 .

Any ideas?

Javaviewer proxy?

Post by timmy411 »

Also the ssl repeater log creates the following error;

"ERROR: accept SSL unsuccessful"

I just wanted to add that i successfully connect using the ssl_viewer. It works great. I am only having issues with the java iewer. Since the viewer and scii and repeater all work, i am thing that this eliminates the repeater, firewall and sciii exe as having the problem.

Hope this helps shed some light on the issue.

proxy is the proxy of your office unrelated to repeater.
repeater is on public internet available for both (viewer and server) ping should work from both side to repeater.

Thank you, that makes sense. It leads me to believe that i need to locate where the repeater address is stored in the javaviewer. I think what may be happening is that sc.uvnc.com repeater is trying to connect to my repeater when i was putting the repeater address in the proxy field. A log entry was being created when i attempted connection. Anyway, thank you for your reply. I understand that you are very busy, and i appreciate your response. Thanks again.
